Possibly My Last Amazon Order!

This is probably going to be my last Amazon haul. I usually just get books from Amazon when my Dad is ordering books. He got a Kindle for Christmas, so something tells me he shall be downloading his own books from now on. I'd never used one before he got his and I can see now why people rave about them. There amazing!! I may be getting one off my Parents for my 22nd birthday in February, if I do I will be delighted.

My Amazon order finally arrived last Tuesday after over a month of waiting for it. I think the delay was something to do with the Christmas rush, so I was glad when they finally arrived! I ordered five books in total and they are ones that I've been looking forward to reading for a very long time.

I've been reading this series since it was first published when I was sixteen. Vengence is the fourteenth and final book in the Private series. I've really enjoyed reading all foureen of these so I can't wait to see what the final book has in store. Cruel Love is the sixth and final book in the Privilege series which is a spin-off featuring one of the characters from Private. I'm so sad to see both of these books come to an end.

I've heard so much about this trilogy and read so many great reviews. I ordered all three of the books at once cause they always seem to turn out cheaper on Amazon. As my order took so long to arrive, I'm already in the middle The Maze Runner Trilogy. I've heard that these books are alot like The Hunger Games, correct me if I'm wrong though. I'm thinking of doing a review on both trilogies when I'm finished reading them both. Let me know what you think! Do you enjoy reading these sort of posts?

Have you read The Hunger Games Trilogy? What did you think of it?

Instyle Ultimate Beauty Secrets Review

Recently i came across “InStyle Ultimate Beauty Secrets”. It has already become a great addition to my beauty book collection.

Even though it arrived a day later than my other books in my online order it was worth the extra wait!!!

At present, this book is my “Go To” book for all things beauty related. With over 200 tips in total (218 to be exact) it’s like a little black book of beauty advice.

Why do I like this book so much? The layout is key. As there are 218 tips all together you may wonder how you are going to find the beauty advice you are looking for. Answer-The whole book is split into sections (Skin, Eyes, Lips etc), there are also 4 frequently asked questions at the end of every segment which might prove helpful for some people.

I’m really enjoying reading this book. I am even finding some useful tips that I have never heard of or used before, there are also “Red Carpet Secrets” from some of Hollywood’s Biggest Stars which I find very interesting. I’ll have to try them out!

I think “InStyle Ultimate Beauty Secrets” would be perfect for a beauty lover on-the-go as the tips are short and sweet but so very valuable to have!

Amazon.com Book Haul!!

Something everyone knows about me is that I love reading...Ever since I can remember I always had my nose in a book and I have the fondest memories of going into bookshops when I was younger and whoever was with me at the time would always let me pick out a book to read!

Over the years I have read my fair share of good and bad books and have dipped into many different genres,Fantasy,Teen, Romance etc. All that I know is I've never really been been truly fixed on one genre alone and I don't choose one over the other the same applies to authors I have read. My collection at home consists of so many books by so many different authors . Even still when asked "What's my favourite author?" I still can never stick to one alone. Is this the case with other people too?

So when it comes to ordering books online I always come out with a mix matched bundle of books even my Dad, who got me into reading laughs everytime when he sees the list of books I come into the room with after browsing Amazon.com.

Here are the books I picked up this time...Have you read any of them?

"13 Little Blue Envelopes" is an adventure novel by Maureen Johnston. It's the first book in a two part series about seeing new sights in Europe. When I seen the sequal "The Last Little Blue Envelope" was released online I had to have it! If like me you enjoy a good travel story it's the perfect book to read. Maureen Johnston is a great American writer who is very accesible for teenagers and young adults. As it's the Summer, I think it's the best choice to read on holidays!

The first Private Novel was released when I was 16, since then I've been hooked on them. "Ominous" is the 13th book in the series so I'm really looking forward to reading it. I'd just feel if I didn't read it I'd be missing out on something as I've read so much of the series already.

Meg Cabot's "Abandon" was a random purchase I seen it was newly published online and I thought I'd give it go. I've read so many of her books already. I adored The Princess Diaries Series which I can remember reading repeatedly. I think every girl has read a book of hers a some point in their life!!!

I also ordered one more book Instyle Essential Beauty Secrets but I've unfortunately not received it as of yet but I shall keep you informed when I do get it. I bought this book cause I've seen such good reviews on other beauty blogs so I'm really looking forward for this one.

Is there any books that you have read lately that you recommend for summer reads??
