The Lo Down - Simple Night Out Makeup Look

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I love creating simple makeup looks more than any. I know I don't particularly like spending hours doing my makeup unless it's an absolute necessity on my part. On Tuesday I created a really simple makeup look using some of my favourite products and I thought I'd share it you guys.
For my base I used the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation and concealer.  This is the newly reformulated and repackaged one and I was so impressed, it could be even better than the original in my honest opinion. You can find the review for these two products here. I apply these products to my face using the So Su Pro Blender and Complexion sponge and it gives such a nice finish. I'm not one for using sponges but I must admit I've been using this everyday since I my Mum gave it me. I reviewed this a couple of days so if you want to read my thoughts on it you can check out the review here.

For blush and contour I used two products from Benefit Cosmetics, their Dew the Hoola and Dandelion Dew. Both are probably my favourite products from this wonderful brand and that's saying something. They are on the pricey side of things but I'm delighted I spent every last penny on them. There such good quality products and secondly they'll last for ages which is always good to know as you only need the smallest amount. I do love the packaging on both these products as well there so pretty and of course look so well on my makeup shelf. I also did a full review on both these products that you can check out here and here.

Lastly I tried out a new product on my face and the was the NYX Dewy Finish setting spray. I love a good old setting spray it has to be said. I like how it holds my makeup in place and makes it look fresh. This spray in particular gives a nice dewy finish so it looks like your glowing from within. My skin can look dull some times so this is exactly what I need. As you already know I'm a huge fan of NYX and their affordbale products and this was not different it was only €10 which is really good when you consider the prices of some setting sprays on the market at the moment.

So that's my finished makeup look, again another quick and easy one. All the products are great to work with and I'm glad I splurged on one or two. I really enjoy doing these makeup look posts and I really hope you do to.

The Lo Down - Benefit Double the Lip Lipstick

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I'm a big fan of Benefit Cosmetics so I couldn't wait to try their new lip products when I saw they launched on Cloud 10 Beauty, of course I had to buy one to try. There are 8 shades to choose from and I went for the shade Juicy Berry which is a gorgeous plum shade, perfect for everyday and I love it.
I'm already planning on picking up some more shades. Basically these lipsticks are a lipstick and a liner in one. They look beautiful on the lips and the colour payoff is amazing. They have similar packaging to the Benefit's They're Real mascara it's so sleek and pretty.
These are priced at €22 which isn't too bad at all for a lip product this good.

The Lo Down - Benefit Cosmetics Dandelion Dew

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I loved Benefit's Dew The Hoola liquid bronzer, it's such a lovely product. I recently bought Benefit's Dandelion Dew liquid blush off Cloud 10 Beauty and I couldn't wait to test it out.
I love the packaging it's almost identical to Dew The Hoola except it's a pretty green colour. Now the product itself is soo good, I only apply two dots to the apples of my cheeks and blend it in using a Blank Canvas brush and that's it. Simple as that! Your left with a subtle hint of pink that looks so natural. I don't particularly like vibrant blushes as they me look like a doll or worse a clown and no one wants that. This product isn't like that at all and that's why I like Benefit products so much. Like I said in my Cloud 10 Beauty Benefit Haul you can only purchase this product from their website it's not available on counters in Ireland. It is on the pricey side €30.95 but I think it's totally worth it's soo good.
I can't decide which is my favourite between Dandelion Dew and Dew The Hoola, so if you were going to purchase one I'd go for the one you need most as they are both great products.

The Lo Down - Benefit Cosmetics Haul from Cloud 10 Beauty

 Hey Guys and Dolls,

Cloud 10 Beauty is the site I go to for all my beauty products, it has such a good range to choose from. The now stock Morphe products so I know I'll probably be buying more products soon. As you all know I love Benefit Cosmetics. They always bring their A game when it comes to new and exciting launches.
I was recently on Cloud 10 Beauty and I saw a offer they were running, basically when you spend €40 or more you get two deluxe sized samples of Roller Lash mascara and their moisturser, Total Moisture Facial Cream. I've tried the latter and I love it as a night cream and it's a generous size sample, the mascara on the otherhand is a product I've wanted to try for ages so I'm excited to give it a go.

Now on to the main products I purchased. As you all know I was a huge fan of Dew the Hoola so when I saw there was a liquid version of their Dandelion blush, Dandelion, I had to put it in my shopping basket. I've actually used this for the first time today and so far I really like it and I'm super impressed. I haven't seen this in counters in Ireland so I'm guessing it might be exclusive to the Cloud 10 Beauty website. When I first got the product I thought the pump was broken so I contacted Cloud 10's customer care team and they were beyond helpful. I actually got it working in the end so I'm happy out. I also bought one of the new They're Real Double the Lip lipstick. I got the shade Juicy Berry which I thought was something different and I hope it looks good on me. I haven't tried this as of yet but I'm definitely going to try soon. They sound really intriguing as it's a lipstick and a liner in one, if there good I'll definitely be picking up more as the shade range is great plus the packaging is to die for.

Of course once I review these products I'll be posting a review post and I'm sure that will be very soon.

The Lo Down - Benefit Dew the Hoola Liquid Bronzer

Hey Guys and Dolls,

I always like a nice bronzed complexion over the Winter months, it certainly makes me look a bit more alive it has to be said. My boyfriend Daragh picked this up on Cloud 10 Beauty for me a while ago and I've been using it ever since. I always liked the Hoola bronzing powder from Benefit for years as it suits my pale Irish skin so I was intrigued to try the new liquid offering.
This liquid bronzer gives you a lovely natural look be it over your makeup for contouring or alone on the skin. I prefer it over makeup to be honest, a plus is that it never leaves me looking like a oompa loompa.

I apply this by applying a couple of dots to my face and blending it in nicely with either my Real Techniques Contour brush or Blank Canvas Dimension Series Angled Contour Brush. They both do the job so well. You definitely need a good tool to apply this to your skin. I think if you just used your fingers you'd make a serious mess or worse use too much product. In most of my recent instagram photos I'm using this product so as you can see it's totally natural.
For €30.95 this is an expensive product but I love it and I think it's really good for pale girls like me. I'd recommend buying it off the Cloud 10 Beauty website as they always have discounts every month or so and it's such a good website to purchase products off. I use it all the time and I've never had any issues with them. I really want to try the Dandelion liquid blush next it looks like such a gorgeous product.

What's your favourite Benefit product?

Benefit Hydrating Lip Balms.

Benefit Cosmetics have done it again for me. I'm a big fan of lip products as you probably all well know already and I was really excited to see the launch of their new hydrating lip balms. There's four shades to choose from, Bene Balm, Lolli Balm, Cha Cha Balm and Posie Balm. I'm lucky to have three of the four shades to show you guys. First off I have to say I'm a huge fan of this brand, I adore their packaging. In true Benefit style this particular release does not disappoint, they look sleek and uber fun. Cha Cha Balm is a coral shade, while Posie Tint is a sheer baby pink shade. My favourite though has to be Bene Balm it's a nice rosie red on the lips and definiely shows up alot more than the other two balms.  I can still see myself using all three as they are hydrating on the lips and with the Winter months ahead can see myself use them alot.

I like the idea that these lip balms can be used on top of their coinciding tint or on their own for a hint of colour. At the moment  Bene Balm has a permanent spot in my makeup bag and has definitely become a firm staple of mine. At €21.50 these lip balms are a steal, I think I may even treat myself to Lolli tint in the near future.

What lip balm do you have your eye on?

July Favourites!!

I can't believe August is already upon us, where did July go?  I was just talking to my brother yesterday about how it's the last month of the Summer holidays before he heads back to college which is crazy!! For me July will be remembered for the amazing weather we had here in Ireland and of course going to see Justin Timberlake in concert! We don't get the Sun a lot but when we do we never stop talking about it. For two weeks straight the sun was shining with not a cloud in the sky. Fast forward to the first week in August and already the clouds are back, I miss the nice weather already!  On a brighter note I'm heading to Spain with my family next month. It's the first holiday I've had with my familia for years, I have to admit I'm really excited. Sun, Sea and nice food for a week whats not to like?! The city we're staying in is close to Gilbratar so I'm looking forward to going there to do a bit of shopping of course. Before I start rambling on about my upcoming holiday to Spain, I better start with my favourites as I do have quite a lot to show you this month.

I love finding products that are simple and easy to use, Benefit's Creasless Eyeshadow in No Pressure! is definitely one of them. I picked this up a while ago in Brown Thomas with a gift card I had floating around my bag for an age. It's gorgeous taupe shade with a few specks of gold shimmer. In the mornings I've been applying this to my eyelid and blending it out to create a quick and easy smokey eye. For night I layer it up and use Mac's Embark in the crease. This certainly has been a great addition to my makeup collection as I've been getting a lot of use out of it, well worth the €22.50 that I paid. I absolutely adore the new Colour collection packaging, this product comes in a really pretty art deco cardboard box which I have kept myself. I already have my eye on another shade Bikini-tini that I heard Essiebutton rave about so I know I'll definitely like it.

A nail polish favourite from July has to be Butter London's Cake-Hole*. It's a gorgeous neon pink shade that brightens up any outfit, it pretty much hasn't left my nails all month. I've gotten so many comments this nail polish when I'm wearing it, Cake-Hole is definitely one of those shades that stand out (just look at the name). Only two coats of this is enough to achieve the finish that you can see in this photo here from a previous post. I guess you could get away with one but I'm so used to doing two by now.

When I was in London in June I did go a bit wild and bought a lot of beauty products, two of which have made it into this months favourites. First up is this Crown Brush makeup brush (C45) I picked up at IMATS. It's from their new Infinity line and I've been using it to apply my foundation. Excuse it's appearance, I didn't get a chance to clean it before I took these pictures. The brush is similar to the Real Techniques Buffing Brush but the bristles are tightly packed making it a little more denser. I did buy a couple of brushes from the Infinity line but the C45 is definitely my favourite.

There has been whispers that a Victoria's Secret store is opening in Dublin Airport which I'm super excited about even though I know it will probably be tiny. When I was in London I knew there was one in the Westfield Shopping Centre beside my hotel in Stratford. Of course I ended up dragging Paddy and if you've already read my Haul you'll know I picked up a lot. One of the products that I bought that I've been loving this month is the Sparkling Citrus Lemon Escape Fragrance Mist (pictured below). This stuff smells amazing, it's a mixture of sweet lemon and coconut which I've been using literally everyday. I haven't taken it out of my bag yet as you can see from the bottle I'm almost half way through the bottle. I bought this is a set for £20 which included a shower gel and a body lotion in the same scent. If you're in Victoria's Secret I'd definitely recommend picking up a set as there's such good value. Just be warned that this spray is 125ml so if you're travelling light with carry on luggage you may not be able to bring it back on the plane. I can't wait until I go back to Manchester at the end of the year as I do believe they're opening a Victoria's Secret store in the Trafford Centre. I'll definitely be picking up another bottle of this scent when I visit and check out some more while I'm there.
At night I've been using the Neal's Yard Beauty Sleep Concentrate*. I was given this at a Press Event a couple of months back and I stumbled upon it while cleaning up my room recently. I've been using this on its on at night but you can use it alongside other products in your nighttime routine. Apart from being moisturising, I haven't been using it long enough to see a significant difference in my skin but I adore the calming scent. It certainly makes me feel relaxed going to bed at night. This product is 90% organic aswell so I'm happy to know that I'm not putting anything nasty onto my skin. The bottle may seem small but you literally only need 3-4 pumps of this stuff so it will last a good while. After busy days on the go I think it's so important to give my skin some TLC and this has been working a treat.

With July being so sunny for the most part I had to include these two products from Hawaiian Tropics. Like everyone I know how important it is to use sunscreen even when the sun isn't shining (pesky UV rays and the likes) so I was using this duo a lot. They are both from Hawaiian Tropics Silk Hydration so aswell as protecting my skin from the Sun they are super moisturising too. Did I mention that they also smell amazing? The After Sun's Coconut Papaya scent reminds me of holidays and I can't get enough of it. I did buy these in Tesco on special offer a while ago so I'm not too sure if that is still on. I do remember it being a great bargain! Needless to say seeing as the Sun is no longer around I may not need these as much now but I'll be bringing them along on my holidays to Spain.
Here are two of my random favourites from July as you all know I'm big into reading. When I was given Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare I left it aside for a while I'm not going to lie. I thought it was going to be another Twilight kinda book which I knew I wasn't going to be interested in. Now that I'm almost half way through the book I couldn't have been more wrong. This has a really good storyline to it which I'm not going to explain as knowing me I'll definitely give too much away. I have a feeling there's going to be a love story in this at some point but the background plot is really good. If you're like me you won't want to put it down. Clock Angel is a prequel to the Mortal Instruments series which is has been made into a movie that is going to be release this month. It stars the babe that is Robert Sheehan (The Misfits & Love/Hate) and Lily Collins, whilst the movie is based on the 1st book in the series the City of Bones which I haven't read yet I can't wait to go see it! Once I do finish this book I'm going to pick up some more in the series as they are currently on 3for2 in Easons. The other random favourite of mine is this bag I bought from Accessorize. I usually don't go for bags with short straps, I much prefer when they're long as I find them way easier to carry around. I was between to minds when I got this but I think I made the right decision in the end. This bag is huge and fits absolutely everything in it, e.g my camera, notebook etc. It also contains a removeable pouch which for me makes the bag more secure as I can put all my important stuff in there. Coming in two different colours I opted for the black/brown option as I think it would go with more compared to the green/navy offering. If you'd like to see a "What's in my Bag?" post in the future let me know in the comments.

What made it into your July Favourites? Did you get up to anything exciting last month?

London & IMATS Makeup Haul Plus a little Giveaway (Closed)!

I promise this will be the last London related post on here. I know I've been harping on about it since I came back but I seriously had so much stuff to write about. This post is going to be a Beauty Haul showing you guys what I picked up whilst I was in London. Looking at my purchases now I did buy quite a bit but I know that I'll actually use the stuff I bought which I know can't be said for some past purchases.
First off I'll show you what I got at IMATS! To be fair I didn't buy too much. I bought a couple of bits from Crown Brush, I seen so many good reviews on their brushes I knew I wanted to check them out. I bought two palettes, their 28 Nude Eyeshadow palette (which you can win, details below) and their 10 pan blush palette. I also picked up five of their brushes on the day, I'm not too sure what type of brush they are as they have no names. It's kind of annoying but who knows they could be amazing makeup brushes and redeem themselves. The total for these purchases came to £78 which I wasn't expecting. I think it's kinda pricey for what I got to be honest but other than that I'm happy with my purchases. My only other purchase at IMATS was Make Up Forever's HD Foundation, again a product I've heard tonnes about.  I made such a good saving on this product, at IMATS it was £20 but in Dublin it retails for in and around €38. I got it in the shade 117 which is the perfect match for me and so far I'm really happy with it. I don't think it would be a foundation I'd use on a day to day basis but definitely for special occasions. I haven't really tried too much from Make Up Forever as I feel its a bit on the pricier side of things over here. Who knows after trying this I may pick up some more bits from them really soon!

When I seen Benefit's Matthew Williamson The Rich is Back palette online I knew I had to have it. We do have a huge Debenhams in town but with saving for London I decided to save my money and buy it when I got there. I do have a few Benefit palettes in my collection which are all fab but this one just caught my eye, I'm in love with the retro packaging. All the shadows in the palette are very wearable, I could even see myself using the turquoise shade over the Summer months too, I just hope we start getting the nice weather soon. This palette was £26.50 which I guess is a bit on the pricey side of things but I know I'll get so much use out of it. It's also Limited Edtion so I doubt it will stick around for long. When I was in Debenhams on Oxford Street they literally had three left in stock. I came upon the store Liberty by a complete accident when we got off the Tube. Of course I snuck in with Paddy for a few minutes to have a look around their Beauty Hall which is heaven! I bought two miniature Bumble and Bumble products, their Prep and Thickening Hairspray. I've never seen the mini products in Dublin so I decided to give them a go. I always find it better to go for the miniatures instead of the full size products as if I don't like something I know I won't have wasted a lot of money. Both of these products came to €12.50 which I thought was rather good! I haven't tried too much from the brand but so far I'm really impressed with these two products. I signed up for a store card while I was in the store, I have no idea why considering I'll never use it as I live in Dublin. Another brand we can't get our hands on in Dublin is KIKO Cosmetics. I popped into their store in Westfield Stratford and it was so busy as they had their Sale on. I haven't heard too much about this brand so I was looking forward to trying some bits. I bought two products that were in the Sale, the Sun Bronzing Blush and Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow. I wasn't planning on buying the latter but the lovely Sales Assistant sold it too me at the til. They literally don't budge, I went for shade 28 which is a flesh toned. I think it will be great under a neutral eye. I also picked up KIKO's Night Balm which is a nourishing treatment for the lips. Mine have been extremely dry lately so I'm hoping it works magic! All three products came to £16.20 which didn't break the bank. If I end up liking these goodies I'll definitely pick up some more bits the next time I'm in London.

The only other shop I went to in Westfield Stratford was of course, Victoria's Secret! Here in Ireland we always seem to be the last to get big name stores opened on our shores so I couldn't wait to pop in and have a shop around. I ended up buying just beauty products, their beauty section is huge! There was so much choose from, I literally loved nearly every scent I tried. I finally decided on their Lemon Escape Gift Set and Love Spell Fragrance Mist. All of these products smell amazing! The minute I sprayed Lemon Escape Paddy insisted that I bought the fragrance. I think it was probably his favourite scent in the whole shop. I decided to go for the set as you get the body spray, body lotion and shower gel housed in a gorgeous makeup bag. Lets be honest here I did fall in love with the makeup bag just a little so that probably played a big part in my final decision. I was also drawn towards their Love Spell Fragrance Mist, it has a gorgeous peachy scent! Plus it comes in purple packaging which is indeed my favourite. For daytime I do love fragrance mists as opposed to perfumes over the Summer as they are much lighter on the skin. Lastly in Stansted Airport I picked up the Rockin' Body Perfecting Cream. This was one of those "Getting Rid of my Sterling need to buy Stuff" purchases. Lets be honest we all have them when we go on holidays. I was really surprised that the Victoria's Secret in the Airport stocked so much considering it was the size of a shoe. This came to £10.83, not a 100% sure how much it actually is in stores. Again this smells really nice , it's basically a body illuminator which I think will look rather nice over tan.

Paddy bought me some bits and bobs while we were in London. He picked me up this gorgeous Beatles Abbey Road teddy which is so cute. I have a couple of teddys from when I was younger with badges/pins from different countries my family and I have visited. Whenever people go away they always bring me back a couple. As you can see I've already stuck a couple of London badges on there. I'm actually scared to count the amount of badges/pins I have as there are so many. Paddy also got me two books, The Devil Wears Prada and the new sequel, Revenge Wears Prada. I've heard so much about the original book so I can't wait to give these two books a read very soon.
Now for the giveaway, I was quite lucky to have been able to buy quite a bit whilst I was in London last weekend. Thank god I checked in a bag or I wouldn't have been able to bring any of it home. Saying that my suitcase was nearly over the 15KG limit which I was indeed stressing out about all morning! I've decided to give away the lovely Crown Brush 28 Neutral Colour palette which you can see in the first picture on this post. Of course I opened it to show you guys what its like in person but I haven't touched any of the shadows! If like me you love neutral shadows this will definitely be up your street. I do love it myself but I do have quite a few neutral palettes already and I thought it would be nice to give it away to one of my lovely readers!!

Entering this giveway is simple as I don't want to go down the route of a million rules and such.

Benefit's Most Glamorous Nudes Ever Eyeshadow Kit

Benefit have been rolling out a lot of gorgeous palettes lately. The packaging like the brand itself is fun and eye-catching so you can't walk by a counter without being drawn to them. I'm loving their latest release, The World Famous Neutrals palettes. All three can be used to create gorgeous eye looks for day and night. I already own their Big Beautiful Eyes palette which I love. My Mum got it for me as a gift for my 21st birthday two years ago and it's still going strong. I find myself reaching for it quite regularly too as it's so simple to use. I do like how Benefit have brought some new updated neutral palettes into the mix.
I was lucky enough to be given Eyenessa's Most Glamour Nudes Ever palette* at a recent Benefit event. I had my eyes on one of these for a while and was planning on getting one on payday so I was delighted when I won it during a quiz at the end of the night. To say I've been using this a lot is an understatement. Where do I even start with this palette? It literally has all you need to create a beautiful neutral eye look. If you're like me and like keeping things simple, there's a tip &tricks guide showing the perfect day and night look included in this kit. I love the selection of cream eyeshadows included, dare I say I may like these more than my much loved MAC paint pots. I know that's a pretty strong statement in itself. I love how the two creaseless cream eyeshadows are removable which makes them ideal for travelling, they're so tiny so they'll fit perfectly into any makeup bag. The shadows in the palette are more on the bronzy side of things which I love as they'll be perfect for the Summer months. I'm hoping we get the lovely weather to go with it very soon.
I know these palettes are a bit on the expensive side at €34.50 but in my opinion they are definitely worth the money for what you get. It probably wouldn't be a palette I'd cart around everyday, simply because I'd be afraid that it would get bashed around in my bag. When your finally finished with all the loveliness in the palettes, you can remove the tray and use it as a trinket box. This is exactly what I'll be doing with it as it looks so pretty sitting on my shelf. A nice little touch by Benefit that you'll see with the majority of their palettes and I love it. I already have my eye on the other two kits to choose from.Sure you can never have too many neutral eyeshadows if like me you use them all the time.

What do you think of the World Famous Neutrals Palettes? Which one do you have your eye on?

Benefit Fine-One-One Event

I know this post is going up kind of late but I really wanted to tell you guys about an event I had the pleasure of attending tonight. As you probably all know Benefit Cosmetics are launching a fabulous new product this weekend called Fine-One-One. It's described as a "sheer brightening cheek & lip trio for" and I love it! I'm going to do a full review in due course after I've tried it out for a bit but my first impressions of this product are really good. I really like how it's universal shades which is going to be perfect for all skin tones. Again like with all Benefit products the packaging blows me away, it's so pretty.

I went along to the launch with my lovely friend Nabilah. When we arrived we got our makeup touched by the love police officers. My MUA Sandra put the Brow Zing kit to work on my brows. I've never tried this product from Benefit before and I've always seen smashing reviews on it across the blogosphere. I loved it so much, I never usually go near my brows but after using this only the once I may need to make a sneaky purchase soon. Sandra used Benefit's fabulous highlighter Watts Up which I'm ashamed to say I hadn't tried before. I love the packaging and the name, the brand are know for keeping their products fun. She also applied some Ultra Plush Lip Gloss to my lips in the shade Bella Bamba.  Another product I loved, why do you come out with such amazing products Benefit, my bank balance seriously won't be happy with these purchases. When all the bloggers arrived later on in the evening we were given a run down of the product by the gorgeous Annie & Maggie Ford Danielson. They were both so unbelieveable nice and friendly, it was so lovely to have them there to talk us through Fine-One-One. Everything eas so informative and it was great to hear the numerous ways you can use this product.

Here's some pictures from the event that I snapped when we were there.
Are you excited for the launch of Fine-One-One??

February Favourites

Not many products really wowed me this month, I've resorted back to using some products I haven't been giving much love to lately. One of them is included in this months favourites. In total, I have five products to show you all so I'm going to keep this post short and sweet like February.

I have three Inglot palettes, this is my favourite one.The eyeshadows are so pigmented and for the price (€20 for the entire palette) they were a bargain. I've had this for a couple of months now, my favourite shadow is the dark brown shade which you can see I already hit pan on. I've been using this in the crease with No7's Wheatsheaf eyeshadow all over the lid, regularly for work and it looks really nice. Don't let the glitter put you off, once blended it's more like a light shimmer. I've been more inclined to use these over my MAC eyeshadows lately. If you would like to see a post with swatches and shade numbers let me know in the comments.

The Body Shop's Chocomania Body Lotion
On my birthday I got lots of lovely Chocomania goodies as a present. Out of the products I've tried so far (not many), this is my favourite. As you can see the bottle, I've used it up quite a bit already. This body lotion leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. The whole Chocomania range smells great, I wasn't expecting it to be when I first heard of it's launch. I also like how the lotion seeps into my skin quickly without leaving it greasy.

Loreal Falsh Lash Telescopic Mascara
I always switch between a million different mascaras, but I've stuck with Loreal's latest offering for the last few weeks. I'm a big fan of the original Telescopic mascara so False Lash Telescopic had alot to live up to. Before applying this, my lashes were long to begin with but False Lash gives them that extra something. I'm always left with gorgeous fluttery lashes.

Benefit Sugarbomb Blush
As you can tell from the picture, I've had this blush for a long time. I've only tried two of Benefit's box blushes, Dandelion and this. I've been using Sugarbomb everyday since I rediscovered it in my room. Ir gives a really nice pop of colour to the cheeks, it's something different. I'm tempted to try Hervana next.

Loreal Paris Superliner Carbon Gloss
In my January favourites, I mentioned Loreal's Super Liner, it has squeezed in again this month. I can't believe it took me so long to try it. Before I started using this, I used gel liners all the time. Loreal Super Liner has now taken there place. If you haven't tried this already, I'd recommend it.

What has made it into your February favourites??

July Favourites!!

Sorry this post is coming to you girls so late. I'm getting my room redecorated and everything had to be removed from my room which included my internet. Now I'm back and my room is nearly complete. I'm getting new custom built shelves for extra storage so hopefully that's going to be done soon. I'll keep you posted on what the finished room is like.I'm loving it so far.

So it's time for my July Favourites!! Wow this month went unbelievably fast. I can't believe it's the last month of Summer already. July was a quiet month, I was working lots and I had a few birthdays to go to. With that said, I still had a brill month! Hope you all are enjoying your summer.

Here are some of the products I've fallen in love with this month...

MAC + Marcel Wanders Lipgloss in Beatrix
This is an old favourite of mine. My mom brought me back some goodies from her trip to New York last December and this was one of them. This collection wasn't available in Ireland so I was glad she picked it up. This lipgloss is a gorgeous golden nude colour. Sadly it's a Limited Edition so I won't be able to repurchase it. I'm trying to make this one last.

Benefit Funday Sunday Palette
Wow I love this palette. I bought Sunday Funday at a Benefit Cosmetic event back in June. I've been using it so much as of late. I love the four eyeshadows that are included in the palette as they so wearable. This would also be perfect for travelling as it also contains a Benetint, Hoola Bronzer, eyeliner and a lipgloss. Sunday Funday palette is Limited Edition so get it while you can.

Korres Pomegranate Lip Butter
Being such a big fan of lip products there was going to be more than one in my favourites. I've been using this lip butter for a little over a month now and I love it. It not only moisturises but it also leaves me with lovely reddish lips. I'm definitely going to try out some more makeup product from Korres as I was so impressed with this product.

Kiehls Creme De Corps
Creme De Corps is my first purchase from Kiehls. I was really looking forward to trying this out. This is a lovely thick cream and is great for dry patches. After using this on my arm and legs I'm left with lovely soft skin. This product comes in 3 different sizes the one I own is the smallest. Creme De Corps Light is also available for people who find the original too heavy.

Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Lotion
I am such a fan of Liz Earle. This is another product I love. I use Eyebright lotion every morning before I go to work. This product has a cooling effect on my eyes and they are left looking refreshed. It has become a big part of my everyday skincare routine. You can have a look at my full review here.

Vera Wang Lovestruck
My mom bought this a few weeks ago and gave it to me. It's my must have perfume. I love the classic floral scent and the gorgeous packaging. I doubt I will be chugging it around in my bag though as the bottle is just too pretty.

Yankee Vanilla Cupcake Candle
This candle smells amazing. It has a gorgeous sweet scent which I love. I got the medium size jar so it has lasted for ages.

What have been your July Favourites??

Benefit "Chachatint Launch" Event Dublin

Yesterday I attended the Chachatint launch event in Brown Thomas Dublin. I heard about this event instore and I just had to go. Maggie & Annie Ford Danielson (daughters/nieces of  Benefit co-founders Jane and Jean Ford) were in attendence. Last Saturday, I reserved my spot by paying 30€ which was redeemable on all products and meant I could get my makeup done too.

On the day, I was booked in at 12.45pm as perusual I arrived early. I spent some of the time looking at some Benefit products and watching Maggie and Annie's makeup demonstrations which I found interesting.

Finally the time came to get my makeup done, my Benefit makeup artist, Sarah was lovely and helpful. We had such great chats about blogging and of course Benefit products.

When my makeup was done I was so delighted with it, Sarah did such a good job. I loved my eye makeup and I loved the way Chachatint looked on my cheeks:) I got to chat to Maggie and Annie for a few minutes they are so pretty and friendly. I talked to them about some of the products I was purchasing and their time in Dublin of all things. A picture of me and girls was taken by one of the lovely Benefit staff and it was put in a cute frame.

L2R Annie,Me, Maggie
My makeup artist Sarah also took a picture for me with my digital camera. I loved how both pictures turned out.

I also met the lovely Beaut.ie girls Kirstie and Aisling. I was so happy to finally get to meet them as I'm such a big fan of their blog I love it. I was also got to see some of the Irish Beauty bloggers I've met before and a few new ones.

I purchased two products that I really liked that were used to get my makeup look.

Chachatint
I was blown away with Chachatint. It's a very daunting shade in the bottle but such a nice shade on the lips and cheeks as it gives a health looking flush of colour. A little goes a long way with this product as it's very pigmented.

Sunday Funday Palette

Another product I had my eye on is Maggie's Sunday Funday Palette.I fell in love with this as it has such wearable shadows and practically has everything you'd need in a palette. The artwork on this palette is gorgeous and was designed by Nikki Farquharson. In Ireland,Maggie's and Annie's palettes are exclusive to Brown Thomas Dublin and are limited edition so they are only available while stocks last.

I also got a Benefit Goodie Bag which I was so chuffed about as it contained some pretty nice things.

 Triple Performing Facial Emulsion Mini

It's Potent Eye Cream Mini

Benefit's Tweezerman Tweezer

Ultra Shines Lip Shine in What Are You Wearing

I'm so glad I attended this event, I really had such a great time. It was a fab start to what I hope is another good weekend:)

Will you girlies be trying Chachatint:)??
